Wednesday, April 23, 2008 *^*^* Breakfast with Mom *^*^* Went with mom to send my car from servicing early in the morning.. and dropped by Geylang's Yong He's Tou Jiang Da Wang to try them out! I've always been a fan of the Dou Jiang Da Wang which is located near the famous Beef Kway Teow.. thou i don't eat beef.. =p Heard this joint from candice and decided to try it out with mom!! The auntie there very nice, she offered us the menu, gave us space, and suggested things to go for breakfast! polite too! when we ordered tau hui, she asked if we would like peanuts with it, then added "no need extra charge!" lolz.. so, duh!, we had ours with a small clutter of soft peanuts. Soy bean curd and milk for both of us! shared a oily you tiao to soak up and crunch on! oooh.. love love. haha!  Another item i tried was their glutinous rice wraped around peanuts and you tiao - quite nice, but abit bland.. yet to try other items- another time ba! ~ another round of yummy tau hui and you tiao!! =)  |
