Sunday, March 30, 2008 &#&#& Jap lunch @ Serene Centre &#&#& Yoshoku Restuarant (French with Japanese Twist!)  They're reasonably priced, and not too expensive for lunch. But the taste is gourmet standards.. simply amazingly good =) Located juz next to Island Creamery, great for lunch/ after lunch hours. So it's convinent to stop by after school, juz as Candice and i did! Above is set lunch, salmon terriyaki!! Comes with salad, freeflow green tea, soup, salmon sashimi, main dish and desert of the day. Salad isn't juz all greens.. got lovely canned peaches which goes delightfully well with the citrus dressing! Sashimi is to die for!!! thickly sliced, melt in the mouth standards!!! both of us saved a piece for the end of the meal (save best for last!!) Main dish was salmon terriyaki- one of the best i've tasted! Perfectly cooked and topped with a little unusual garnish of fried onion (last pic above, the brown strips). Thinkin of it makes me hungry now!! hahhaha Oh yar, loved that the rice came with a little sprinkle of seasoning too!! Desert was sourplum jelly in Sprike (i think).. it was a very nice way to clear the platte after such a satisfying meal. Crudos! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- KokKoon and Raymond juz came by while i'm studying in school waiting for Candice to finish up her elective. Thanks KK for visiting here often =) it's really nice to know that i'm not the only odd one thinkin abt people who i don't see often. Esp after sth happened recently, i was starting to think i was really stupid. Maybe i am. But to those who understand and know, i guess it's worth it.  |
